69% ($25 per exam). Exams are given at MHS with Credit
Recovery Teacher.
 Online Credit Recovery (Compass Learning) – failing grade in

 Enrolled in a credit recovery class during the school day.
 Work can be done after school as well.
 Lab is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15
 Grades earned via credit recovery options will be recorded on the
students transcript, but will not be calculated into the students GPA.
Compass Learning is not an approved non-traditional course
option with NCAA. Student athletes are encouraged to reenroll in any failed course.

 Alvin ISD has an Articulation Agreement with Alvin Community
College.
 These courses allow students to earn college credit while in
high school.
 Students must have a final passing grade of 80% or higher to
be able to earn the credit.
 These credits will ONLY transfer with students attending Alvin
Community College after they graduate from high school
 These credits will not automatically go on the students college
transcript. Your student must apply for articulation credit at
ACC within the first 15 months after graduating from high
school.

date of May 1.
