• Students will have a spelling test every week
(dictation).
• A quiz can occur in any lesson without
warning.
• There will be a quiz every two weeks or at the
end of each story.
• Course Expectations
 For effective learning to take place,
Participation in the form of class and group discussion, completion of
homework and assignment, and punctuality are expected. This includes
having writing material and required notebooks all the time.
 Any tardiness in handing in the work on time will lead to the following
consequences:
• 1- On the first time, a warning will be given to the student who will have to
repeat the homework along with another homework the teacher may find
appropriate.
• 2- On the second time, the homework will be done during lunch break.
• 3- On the third time, a letter will be sent to the parents in addition to a
teacher – administration discussion. The student still has to hand in the
work.
• 4- Parents will be summoned to school, and administration takes action.
 All writings, assignments and worksheets, given to the students must be
stored in a neat folder/binder that will make a great future reference for the
student and will be graded whenever the teacher wills.
