The medieval festival requires ten long months of collaboration between the town, the dressmaker, all trades,
associations, trainees and a lot of volunteers, all passionate by the preparation of this event.
Thanks to their efficiency, the festival has become the biggest of France. For that, we thank them sincerely.

The « Accrovoile »
Travel to unknown lands with life and military
camps mixing Eastern and Western cultures :
spices, tea, silk, dances, camels rides… Meet
merchants who arrive by the Silk Road, enter
in a Berber tent, listen and dance on world
music from the “ Finistère ” to Asia…
find all the animations for kids !
Practical
Free shuttles will run between the various parking lots and the
site, continuously from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday,
information festival
and from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. To return to the
parking lots, you can take the shuttle from two places : Porte de
shuttles
Jouy or Avenue du Général de Gaulle, near the Tourist Office.

To assist to the “ Sound and Light show ” on Saturday (beginning
around 10:30 p.m.) : at the festival site, take a special shuttle “ Son
tourist
et Lumière ” at Porte de Jouy running from 9:15 p.m. to 10:15
p.m. At the end of the show, a shuttle will take you back

and serve all parking lots on demand.

The origins of the biggest medieval festival of France : 33rd edition
Les Médiévales de Provins are a real historic reconstitution of the most
famous Fairs of Champagne that made the reputation of Provins during
the Middle Ages !
To celebrate them properly, craftsmen and merchants meet each year in
June in Provins to propose spices, basketwork, costumes, leather work,
armors, jewels…
