Rendezvous in Durban
South Africa will host the 20th edition of the Africa Senior
Athletics Championships from 22 to 26 June 2016. The city
of Durban will again host, after 1993, the continental elite for
this
prestigious
appointment.
Africa will keep memories of the 2015 season with the
outstanding performances on the track by his sons and
daughters. Were the Beijing World Championships (China) a
turning point in the history of athletics? It was for the first
time that an African country topped the national rankings.
This was Kenya which with 16 medals including 7 gold, beat
Jamaica (12 medals including 7 gold).
Sure, we’ll live wonderful moments on South African land.
